Rachel Pfeiffer, BS

Biography and Education

Prior to joining Iron City Elite staff, Rachel was an indoor cycling instructor at Slippery Rock University. She received her AFAA Indoor Cycling Certificate in the March of 2014, AFAA Primary Group Exercise Certification in April of 2015, and she completed her AFAA Kickboxing Certification in November of 2015. She graduated with her bachelors degree in exercise science in May of 2016.  She would like to continue learning different and popular components of fitness that she can implement into her training.

In addition to teaching, Rachel enjoys playing tennis, indoor cycling, running, hot yoga, and hiking and bicycling on trails in Pittsburgh in her free time. She played tennis at Mt. Lebanon High School, and ran on her own. She continued running at Slippery Rock University as a RunClub leader, and she is training for a half-marathon.
